Ketchikan Police Department Records

The Ketchikan Police Department is located at 361 Main Street, Ketchikan AK 99901. Their non-emergency phone number is 907-225-6631, and the fax is 907-247-6631. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.

KPD handles records requests submitted by fax, mail, or in person. They don't have an online portal for general report requests. You can find the forms you need on the KPD Police Forms page, which includes a Report Request Form, an Employee Conduct Form, and a Parking Appeal Form. Use the Report Request Form when asking for incident or crash records. Fill it out completely before submitting.

Police records go directly to KPD, not to the City Clerk. If you send a police records request to the wrong office, it will likely be redirected, but this adds time. Go straight to the department at 361 Main Street or fax them at 907-247-6631 to get things moving faster.

KPD also runs a Neighborhood Watch program and a Vesta Alert Registration system for emergency notifications. For parking enforcement questions, call 907-228-1021. These are separate from records requests but are services the department provides to the public.
